📄 A whitepaper is supposed to be a project's technical and economic case for existing — but most people either skip it entirely or skim past the parts that actually matter. Here's what to focus on.
  1. 🎯 What problem does it actually solve? – If you can't summarize this in one sentence, that's a red flag.
  2. ⚙️ How does the technology actually work? – Vague buzzwords without technical substance are a warning sign.
  3. 💰 Tokenomics – Total supply, distribution, and how much the team/early investors hold (and when they can sell).
  4. 👥 Team background – Are real, identifiable people behind it with relevant experience?
  5. 🗺️ Realistic roadmap – Vague, overly ambitious timelines are a common sign of a project overselling itself.
💬 What's the biggest red flag you've personally caught in a whitepaper before investing?
