You don't need to crank everything to "Low" to get a solid FPS boost. Some settings cost a lot of performance for very little visual payoff. Shadows – Often one of the heaviest settings for the least visual difference; dropping from Ultra to Medium barely changes how it looks but can meaningfully boost FPS. Ambient Occlusion – Subtle visual effect, disproportionately expensive on some engines. Motion Blur – Pure performance cost with no actual benefit for most people; turn it off entirely. Anti-Aliasing – Worth keeping at a moderate setting (not off, not max) — a big visual difference between "none" and "some," smaller difference between "some" and "max." Texture Quality – Usually cheap to keep high if you have the VRAM; it's one of the more noticeable settings visually and often not that expensive. What's your go-to "sacrifice this, keep that" setting combo?
