Most of the SEO advice out there is either really advanced or really vague, so here are a few smaller, concrete things that are easy to overlook but tend to make a real difference once they're actually done properly.
- Title tags that match search intent, not just keywords. Stuffing a keyword in isn't enough - the title should read like an answer to the query someone typed, or people bounce straight back to the results.
- Internal linking with real anchor text. A lot of sites link everything as "click here" or "read more". Linking related pages together with descriptive anchor text helps both users and crawlers understand what a page is actually about.
- Compressing and properly naming images. Huge unoptimized images are still one of the most common Core Web Vitals killers, and generic filenames like IMG_2031.jpg waste an easy, free ranking signal.
- Cleaning up thin or near-duplicate pages. A handful of strong, complete pages will usually outperform a large number of half-finished ones competing with each other for the same query.
- Basic structured data (schema). Even just Article or FAQ schema on your main content pages can get you extra visibility in search results without much work.
